Sexync is a free, browser-based platform for private video calls with real-time toy control. You see and hear each other while one of you controls the other's toy live — moving it directly, not choosing from a menu. Adult content creators use it to sell sessions their fans can't get anywhere else, and partners use it to feel each other from anywhere. Every room is private: it opens only from an invite link, and the host decides who comes in.

Adults, in two main groups. Content creators (hosts, or performers) offer paid sessions where the fan's own hand drives the toy. Partners — across town or across an ocean — share touch over a video call. Everyone on Sexync must be 18 or older.

Yes. Sexync is free to use — no subscription, no monthly fee, and no feature behind a paywall. Sexync does not process payments today, so creators collect through their existing channels (OnlyFans, a booking link, direct transfer) and keep 100% of what they charge. Tokens for paying and tipping inside the room are on the way; when they launch, Sexync will take a commission on tokens spent, and that is the only thing we charge for. Rates will be published before tokens go live.

No — Sexync runs in your browser. The one exception is Buttplug.io toys, which connect through the free Intiface Central app. An OSSM needs our SexCode firmware installed once, and you do that from the browser too, at sexync.com/flash.

The host opens a room from their home page and shares its invite link. Whoever opens the link sets up their camera and toy in the lobby and asks to join, and the host lets them in. Inside the room you see and hear each other, chat, and control each other's toys. Control is granted by the person whose toy it is, and they can take it back at any moment. Creators agree the terms and payment with their fans beforehand, through their own channels.

Open the invite link the host sent you. You can join as a guest with just a name — confirming that you are 18 or older — or log in to your account. Set up your camera and toy in the lobby if you have them, then ask to join; the host lets you in. As a guest you can watch and control; streaming your own camera needs an account with a verified identity.

No. Rooms are not listed or searchable anywhere. A room opens only from its invite link, and even with the link nobody gets in until the host admits them.

If the connection to the other side fails, your toy stops and any control you granted is withdrawn. Sexync then reconnects automatically, and control has to be granted again before anyone can move your toy. If you closed the tab, open the same room link again to rejoin.

Three kinds. First, the OSSM (Open Source Sex Machine) running SexCode firmware — the device Sexync is optimised for. Your partner's hand movement becomes machine motion, the OSSM reports its real position and load back, and its safety limits and emergency stop are enforced by the firmware itself. Assembled units are available from Research & Desire at researchanddesire.com. Second, any TCode device, such as the OSR2 or SR6 — also moved directly by position, with no firmware change needed. Third, 500+ Buttplug.io-compatible toys — vibrators, strokers and more from brands like Lovense, We-Vibe, The Handy and OhMiBod — connected through the free Intiface Central app, with live intensity control. The OSSM and TCode devices connect over USB, which needs Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, or Firefox 151 and later, on a desktop or laptop.

Video calls and Buttplug.io toys work in any modern browser. The OSSM and TCode devices connect over USB through the Web Serial API, which is available in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, or Firefox 151 and later, on a desktop or laptop. Safari, and every browser on iPhone and iPad, cannot connect a USB device.

Power on your OSSM and connect it by USB. Open sexync.com/flash in a supported browser and follow the on-screen steps to install SexCode — it takes about two minutes, once. Then replug the cable, open the toy panel from the Devices section of the sidebar, pick the OSSM tab and press CONNECT. On Windows and macOS you also need the CP210x USB driver.

Plug it in by USB, open the toy panel from the Devices section of the sidebar, pick the TCode tab and press CONNECT, then choose the device from the list your browser offers. No firmware change is needed — Sexync speaks TCode v0.3, the protocol these devices already use. Close any other app that uses the device first, because only one program can hold its serial port.

Install the free Intiface Central app from intiface.com/#intiface-central and start its server. Pair your toy in Intiface Central (usually over Bluetooth), then open the toy panel from the Devices section of the Sexync sidebar, pick the Intiface tab and press CONNECT. Sexync talks to Intiface Central on your machine over a local connection, so this works in any browser, with no firmware or drivers.

Work through this checklist in order. Most connection failures are caused by one of the first three.

1. Use a data-capable USB cable. Many cables are charge-only and will not expose a serial port to your computer. Swap it for a known-good data cable if you are unsure.
2. Use a browser with Web Serial: Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, or Firefox 151 and later, on a desktop or laptop. Safari does not support it.
3. Install the SexCode firmware. The OSSM ships with factory firmware that Sexync cannot communicate with. Open sexync.com/flash and follow the on-screen steps — flashing takes about two minutes.
4. Replug the USB cable after flashing, so the browser sees the device afresh before it appears in the port picker.
5. Install the CP210x USB-to-UART driver (Windows and macOS only — Linux includes it by default). Download it from silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers, install it, then replug the cable.
6. Close anything else that might hold the port — another Sexync tab, Arduino IDE, PlatformIO or a serial monitor. Only one program can use it at a time.
7. Click CONNECT in the toy panel (open it from the Devices section of the sidebar, then pick the OSSM tab). A browser dialog will appear — select the CP210x device from the list.
8. Try a different USB port, plugged directly into your machine. Some USB hubs and front-panel ports do not supply reliable power.

SexCode is an open device control protocol published by Sexync under the CC0 public domain dedication — anyone can implement it without restriction. It defines the wire format for real-time position and speed commands over a serial connection. Sexync also publishes ossm-sexcode, the SexCode firmware for the OSSM, which you install from your browser at sexync.com/flash. Any toy maker can implement SexCode to make their device work with Sexync.

To join as a guest, you confirm that you are 18 or older, and the host is responsible for who they let into their room. To stream your own camera, or to host a room, you need an account with a verified identity — a government-issued ID check through Didit.

Only the result. The check happens on Didit's site, and your documents and selfie stay with Didit — they never reach Sexync. We receive a pass or a fail, and that status is the only thing we keep. Rooms show your username, never the name on your ID.

Didit is the third-party identity verification service Sexync uses. You photograph a government-issued ID and take a selfie in Didit's own interface, on your computer or your phone, and Didit tells Sexync whether the check passed.

Create an account and follow the setup steps: verify your email, connect a toy, and verify your identity through Didit. The toy is optional — you can host on camera alone. There is no application and no approval queue: once your email and identity are verified, you can open a room.

Sexync does not process payments today. Agree the price with your fans and collect it through your own channels (OnlyFans, a booking link, direct transfer) before the session — all of it is yours. Tokens for paying and tipping inside the room are on the way; when they launch, a commission on tokens spent will be the only thing Sexync charges.

Fast enough to feel like presence rather than remote control. Control doesn't travel with the video: it has its own low-latency channel, built to deliver each movement the moment it happens and to drop anything already out of date instead of queueing it. Both people's connections still matter — a wired connection or strong Wi-Fi helps most.

For the lowest visual latency, use a USB 3 webcam. Keep exposure time short and light the scene well — long exposure settings add visible lag to the video.

For an OSSM, work through the checklist in the Hardware section above — it covers cables, drivers, firmware and browser requirements in order of likelihood. For a TCode device, use a data-capable cable and a browser with Web Serial, and close any other app that holds its port. For a Buttplug.io toy, make sure Intiface Central is running and the toy is paired there before pressing CONNECT in Sexync.
