EU Digital Services Act
This page provides information required under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on a Single Market For Digital Services (the Digital Services Act, or DSA).
1. Platform Identity
Sexync is an online platform providing private live session services for adult content creators and their audiences. The platform enables private 1-on-1 rooms combining live video, voice, real-time chat, and connected device interaction.
The Platform is currently in early access (alpha) and is accessible at sexync.com. The Platform is operated by Bytenade Oy, a company registered in Finland with its registered office in Helsinki. Company registration and VAT identifiers will be added here once available.

2. Platform Category
Sexync is an online platform within the meaning of Article 3(i) of the DSA insofar as it hosts and transmits information at the request of users.
Sexync is not a Very Large Online Platform (VLOP) or Very Large Online Search Engine (VLOSE) as defined under Articles 33 and 33a of the DSA. The platform does not meet or approach the threshold of 45 million average monthly active users in the European Union that would trigger those enhanced obligations.
As a small platform, certain DSA obligations are proportionally reduced or deferred. We are committed to complying with all obligations that apply to platforms of our size and will update our practices as the platform grows.
3. Content Moderation
Architecture
Sexync operates exclusively private 1-on-1 rooms. There is no public content feed, no public performer directory, and no content browsable by third parties. Sessions are accessible only via private links shared directly between a performer and an invited guest.
Sexync does not record, monitor, or store the live video or audio of private sessions; these are relayed in real time and not retained. Text chat messages are stored on our servers and may be reviewed where necessary to investigate reports, enforce our policies, or comply with law. Moderation therefore operates primarily at the account and access layer, supported by review of reported chat content.
Age and Identity Verification
All users must be at least 18 years of age. Users who stream video or connect a device must complete full identity verification using a government-issued identity document via our third-party provider, Didit (didit.me).
Alpha-phase caveat: Automated selfie-based age estimation at room entry is currently suspended for guests to reduce onboarding friction. During this period, room hosts bear responsibility for confirming that any invited guest is 18 or older before granting access — this obligation is stated explicitly in the Terms of Use. Full automated guest verification will be reinstated when the platform exits alpha.
Prohibited Content
Sexync prohibits, under all circumstances:
- Any content that depicts, describes, or sexualises minors. This is a zero-tolerance policy. Violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities, including the appropriate national reporting hotlines and law enforcement agencies.
- Non-consensual conduct or content.
- Any other content that is unlawful under applicable EU or national law.
Enforcement
Accounts found to be in violation of prohibited conduct policies are suspended or terminated immediately. Where legally required, we report violations to the appropriate authorities.

5. User Reporting
If you believe that content or conduct on the Platform violates applicable law or Sexync's Terms of Use, you can use the report button available in the session room, or contact us at:
Please include as much detail as possible — including the nature of the concern, the account or session involved (if known), and any supporting information. We review all reports and take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable law.
Reports can be made by any person, regardless of whether they are a registered user of the Platform.
6. Transparency Reporting
Under Article 15 of the DSA, online platforms are required to publish annual transparency reports on content moderation activities. As a small platform that does not meet VLOP thresholds, Sexync is not currently subject to the full obligations of Article 15; however, we are committed to transparency about our moderation practices as the platform matures.
We will publish transparency reports in compliance with applicable obligations as our platform grows. Material changes to our reporting status will be reflected on this page.
