What is Sexync?
Sexync is a free, browser-based platform for private video calls with real-time toy control. You see and hear each other while one of you controls the other's toy live — moving it directly, not choosing from a menu. Adult content creators use it to sell sessions their fans can't get anywhere else, and partners use it to feel each other from anywhere. Every room is private: it opens only from an invite link, and the host decides who comes in.
Is Sexync free?
Yes. Sexync is free to use — no subscription, no monthly fee, and no feature behind a paywall. Sexync does not process payments today, so creators collect through their existing channels (OnlyFans, a booking link, direct transfer) and keep 100% of what they charge. Tokens for paying and tipping inside the room are on the way; when they launch, Sexync will take a commission on tokens spent, and that is the only thing we charge for. Rates will be published before tokens go live.
What devices does Sexync support?
Three kinds. First, the OSSM (Open Source Sex Machine) running our firmware — the device Sexync is built around. Your partner's hand movement becomes machine motion, inside the limits you set, and the firmware stops the motor by itself if the machine jams. Assembled units are available from Research & Desire at researchanddesire.com. Second, any other TCode device, such as the OSR2 or SR6 — also moved directly by position, with no firmware change needed. Third, 500+ Buttplug.io-compatible toys — vibrators, strokers and more from brands like Lovense, We-Vibe, The Handy and OhMiBod — connected over Bluetooth, either straight from Chrome or Edge or through the free Intiface Central app, with live intensity control. The OSSM and TCode devices connect over USB, which needs Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, or Firefox 151 and later, on a desktop or laptop.
Which browsers work?
Video calls work in any modern browser. The OSSM and TCode devices connect over USB through the Web Serial API, which is available in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, or Firefox 151 and later, on a desktop or laptop. Buttplug.io toys connect over Bluetooth straight from Chrome or Edge, on a computer or an Android phone; in any other browser they connect through the free Intiface Central app. Safari, and every browser on iPhone and iPad, cannot connect a USB or Bluetooth device by itself.
Can anyone find my sessions?
No. Rooms are not listed or searchable anywhere. A room opens only from its invite link, and even with the link nobody gets in until the host admits them.
Do I need to verify my age to join a room?
To join as a guest, you confirm that you are 18 or older, and the host is responsible for who they let into their room. Hosting a room only needs an account. Streaming your own camera is where checks come in: a host verifies their identity with a government-issued ID, because US law (18 U.S.C. § 2257) requires a record that every performer is an adult. A guest needs what the law where they are asks — in most places, nothing beyond confirming they are 18 or older when they joined; in places with an age-verification law, a quick selfie age check, with an ID only if the selfie can't tell. Any check needs a saved account, so a guest saves theirs with an email address first, and keeps their seat.
